What C-s1,d0 and B-s1,d0 mean
Under EN 13501-1, the letter grades how much a material contributes to a fire; s grades smoke production and d grades flaming droplets. B is better than C; s1 and d0 are the best available in each sub-scale.
Our standard lines are C-s1,d0 — correct for homes and low-traffic commercial spaces. Hotels, restaurants, healthcare and most escape routes require B-s1,d0, which is why the contract material exists. If a specification or building control officer asks, send them our report; if you're unsure which applies, ask us before you order.
Why we print latex, not solvent
Solvent printing is cheaper and smells for weeks. We use water-based pigment inks: no PVC in the media, no plasticiser off-gassing, and emissions that clear EU Regulation 2023/1464 formaldehyde limits with headroom.
Practical effect for you: a mural that can go up in a nursery or a bedroom the same day it's hung, without airing the room out.
